Overview:
Position responsibilities include, but are not be limited to, working with the Project Executives, Managers and Superintendents in developing master project schedules and updates, performing schedule analysis for change orders and claims, and training field personnel on scheduling procedures.
Responsibilities:
Perform monthly progress updates and create target comparison and periodic look-ahead schedules. Monitor and track progress at detailed and summary level as necessary. Develop and update cost loaded schedules when required. Participate in all project schedule review as required. Accumulate and access historical data for use in maintaining a realistic basis for future planning and forecasting. Provide support and training in the use of P3 and Suretrak to office and jobsite personnel as required. Visit project sites periodically for schedule review and analysis. Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Construction Management and or Architecture degree or equivalent experience. Ability to read and understand building plans and specifications is essential. Intimate knowledge of building construction, materials, systems, market conditions and trade practices. At least 5 years construction scheduling experience using Primavera (P3) and Sure Trak. Experience in pre-construction proposal, bid schedules as well as "as built" schedules. Experience preparing summary and detail level schedules for a variety of project sizes including developing full CPM logic generated baseline schedules for large and small projects (ranging from 100 to 2000 activities). Proficiency with all MS Office software. Ability to work with minimum information. Excellent oral and written skills required.
