Honeywell is currently looking for a Construction Project Control Specialist. This position will assist with the management of the overall relationship with the customer including technical or logistical issues that may arise with the implementation of the project plan. The Construction Project Control Specialist will also work to assist Project Managers in the successful implementation of approved energy projects by coordinating and monitoring on site work activities performed primarily through subcontractors. Duties/Responsibilities: Interface with the Project Manager and customer to manage subcontractors efficiently and effectively complete the project on time, ahead of schedule, and with a satisfied customer Keeping projects on schedule Reviews all job contract documents for requirements and flow downs Implementing and monitoring project schedules Maintaining project meeting minutes and distribution Reporting project progress to the Project Manager Evaluates subcontractor performance against requirements Assist with commissioning and record keeping of Energy Control Measures Assemble project closeout documents and warranties Witness pre and post test measurements .

Requirements:

Good communication skills are required as this individual will have interaction with Project Managers, subcontractors and facility owners. Experience with Project management software such as Microsoft Project will be utilized for tracking project timeliness. This position will require, at times, significant (75% or more) travel domestically. A minimum of a Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Construction ManagementAbility to work non standard hours and travel 75% of the time.3+ years experience in a construction project management environment

Valid Driver LicenseMust possess communication skills sufficient to deal with customers, trades people and Honeywell Project Managers Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft products...Outlook, Word, Excel and ProjectMust be able to accept assignments which require frequent travel and overnight stays Must be able to drive a vehicle and possess a valid driver's license Ability to read and interpret blueprints and diagrams Fluency in trade terms and industry standards Experience in monitoring compliance with Building Code requirements
