Construction Laborer

ENTRY LEVEL POSITIONS AVAILABLE NOW FOR CONSTRUCTION LABORER!

No experience necessary. We are looking for hardworking individuals that enjoy working outdoors in a technical capacity, working individually or in a team, willing and eager to learn, and looking to take on more responsibility.

Learn a trade in the Natural Gas Construction Industry working for a reputable company! You will be working in self-sufficient crews performing technical construction and repair on major utility pipelines.

Be prepared to work a 50hr workweek with overtime offered after the first 40 hours. Typical work hours will be 7am to 5:30pm on the worksite. Personal commute to worksite will not be re-imbursed.

We will be working in the Greater Burlington Area, near Shelburn VT. You will report directly to the job site in the morning and leave from the job site in the afternoon, so you don't need to report to a Central Office!

Experience with pipe laying and digging around under ground utilities is preferred. Proficiency with basic hand tools is a must - shovels, picks, generators, tampers, etc. Experience with loaders, forklifts or skid steers is also helpful.

Candidates must be able to lift at least 90lbs (weight of a tamper), be reliable, motivated, positive, and professional. REFERENCES WILL BE CHECKED. Candidate may be asked to take a pre-employment skills test.

A drug test at the cost of the company will be REQUIRED.

CD-L Class A or B license preferred. Should be able to drive automatic or manual transmission dump truck. Candidates must have a valid and clean Driver’s License, valid registration and insurance for their own vehicle (For commute to and from the work site).
