We are searching for a Product Sales and Support Specialist who can play a pivotal role in developing and managing dealers and distribution channels for a highly versatile new line of compact equipment.
Minimum qualifications for the position include:
· Sales experience with compact or mid sized equipment such as wheel loaders, excavators, tele-handlers, skid steers, tractors, or backhoes, etc.
· Distribution channel development experience – the ability to contact, qualify, and provide startup support to distributors, dealers, and rental venues.
· Channel management skills – Hands-on training & support experience in such areas as effective equipment sales techniques (including conducting sales calls to end users), inventory management, and equipment operations is a big plus.
· The ability to demonstrate and clearly describe the benefits and operating characteristics of high quality equipment at jobsites, and trade shows, etc.
· Team support capabilities – the ability to provide technical and sales support to other members of your sales team.
· The ability to work in a high visibility position, to interface closely with top management in your own as well as your customers’ companies.
· Excellent communications skills along with a high level of energy and enthusiasm.
Overnight travel of approximately 75% throughout the region consisting of Dallas, TX, OK, AR, MS, and LA will be required (virtually no weekend travel). A company vehicle is provided and all travel expenses are paid. Residence in Dallas, TX is strongly preferred; relocation assistance will be considered.
