Construction Accounting Manager/ Book Keeper
Small Real Estate Construction Developer seeks an experienced accounting manager for a fast paced organization specializing in home building. Candidate must be self motivated, be pro-active, sensitive to deadlines, communicate and set-up policies and procedures, and must be able to work independently. Coordinate monthly closings for development projects.
Maintain the General Ledger and reconcile accounts Review and update recurring journal entries on a monthly basis for accuracy prior to posting to the General Ledger Prepare related monthly financial reports Prepare monthly work papers for audit purposes Oversee daily and/or monthly cash management responsibilities to include wire transfers, cash projections, and weekly priority selection of invoices Prepare monthly bank statement reconciliations and resolve all reconciling items in a timely manner Review coding of invoices for proper classification Provide revenue and expense variance explanations on a monthly basis for financial statement review Prepare financial support for loan draw-downs requisitions Analyze and true-up (on a monthly basis) all prepaid expenses and monthly operating accruals for assigned projects Manage all company insurance requirements Manage Company Benefits , Workers Compensation, and other Human Resource issues. Preparing and forecasting operational budgets Familiar with closing documents and other real estate transactions Manage company payroll/accounts receivable/payable clerk
Candidate must have 8 years plus experience in accounting, familiar with realestate construction and operation, and proficient in Microsoft Excel,
Timberline Accounting Experienced preferred but not mandatory.
