We currently manage over 50 convention centers across the United States. ARAMARK has provided catering services for some of the nation’s most prestigious and well-attended conventions. We are currently seeking a Concessions Manager to manage and direct all concession related operations for ARAMARK at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum. The primary responsibility for the Concessions Manager is to maintain excellent, efficient operation while maximizing concession revenues.
Responsibilities include:Plan and develop action plans for all concession events, ensuring staffing and cooking levels meet demand Develop revenue generating concepts, present recommendations to the general manager and the client Direct daily event operations Work with Warehouse Manager to develop and maintain cost analysis Review financial performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis. Create targets and goals for improvements. Report findings to the general manager and controller on a monthly basis Conduct or oversee pre-event meetings with supervisors Coordinate proper stocking and set up of concession locations, review with warehouse manager make recommendations for improvements Oversee hiring process to ensure hiring standards meet ARAMARK Policies and Procedures. Conduct hiring process for supervisors Ensure sanitation and safety policies and procedures are maintained Work with controller to conduct random cash register audits Oversee monthly physical inventory process for concessions. Conduct physical inventories to assure accuracy Develop and coordinate training programs for new hires, continued training for existing employees Assist general manager and controller in forecasting and budgeting process for concessions Develop up selling incentives for concession employees Benchmark concession operation against similar facilities to identify best practices Assist General Manager in yearly client presentations Work with Executive Chef in menu development, ensure quality of items and that pricing fits with in budget lines The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience plus 3-5 years food service industry experience. Previous concessions experience within a food court or sports venue is strongly preferred. Management or supervisory experience as well as the ability to manage in a fast-paced and diverse environment with focus on client and customer service is critical. Previous inventory management and control experience strongly preferred. This position requires an event-based schedule that includes occasional evenings and weekend hours.
