Position Description

This position will perform duties of lead Computing Security Specialist on a Boeing-led contractor team at Vandenberg AFB, CA and serve primarily as ISSO for classified computer operations and assist the COMSEC custodian as required. Responsible for oversight of audits, system access controls, coordination and maintenance of operating authorizations, and investigating computing security incidents and violations. Additional responsibilities include compliance with security program operating procedures; storing and disposing assigned classified material; security education of employees includes participation in AF training; coordinating security matters with host, customer, and appropriate Boeing security representatives, and support preparing and conducting security program reviews and self-inspections. Position will mentor and advise other ISSO's and SA's.

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree and typically 9 to 13 years' related work experience or a Master's degree with 7 to 11 years' related work experience or a PhD degree with 4 to 8 years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Position requires US Citizenship. Applicants selected must have a current FINAL SECRET clearance - will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for accessing classified information. **Please indicate your current Security Clearance status (Active, Inactive, etc.) and effective dates clearly on your resume.** Strongly prefer candidates to have extensive knowledge concerning DoD Dir 5800 and DIACAP/ DITSCAP processes.
