JOB TITLE: Computer Security/Identity Management Specialist
BASIC FUNCTION:
This position provides technical expertise within the area of Identity Management and data security systems. This individual will participate in a highly collaborative and diverse environment working closely with partners throughout the IT organization. Position provides technical expertise and administration in the realm of computer systems security and Identity Management. This role performs a broad range of tasks which may include research, leading technology implementation teams, planning, analysis, design, and training, troubleshooting and general administration/design of Identity Management and security systems. The candidate must have excellent written and oral communication skills. The candidate will be required to document and explain to management design decisions, implementation plans, policy changes or updates.
Responsibilities include managing, and maintenance of the enterprise Identity Management infrastructure including development of IDM workflows using Java scripts, development and maintenance of roles based access controls (RBAC), develop software, hardware and processes to monitor internal and border network connections/traffic for security-related incidents. Assess individual machines, departments, and network segments for security risks/standards compliance. Identify and respond to data security breaches. Review and advise various compliance laws and legislation.
ORGANIZATION LOCATION:
Position is typically found in the Information Technology Services groups.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED/QUALIFICATIONS:
College degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Business and/or a minimum of 5-7 years was in progressively more responsible Computer Security and identity management duties.
Demonstrated experience over 2-5 years in Information security planning, documentation and testing, CISSP certification is preferred.
Demonstrated 2yr experience in java scripting and development of work flows preferred.
2-3 year in-depth support of BMC or SUN Identity Management Products (BMC preferred).
Demonstrated experience developing Role based access Controls.
Advanced knowledge of the techniques used to identify security problems in computer and network systems.
Demonstrated skill in performing post-incident computer forensics without destruction of critical data.
Requires sufficient technical expertise to recognize the applicability of emerging technologies to Gambro's business needs and to direct evaluations, cost/benefit analyses, and implementations of new technology.
Requires knowledge of the business functions supported.
Demonstrated effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
Demonstrated ability to work and communicate with all levels of personnel and management internal and external to the company.

idm sPECIFIC SKILLS:
Experience with the architecture associated with Identity Management
Ability to create and maintain Identity Management entities
Ability to create and define templates, workflows and rules within an Identity Management tool.
The ability to configure system connections, gateways, and platforms associated with Identity Management.
Experience with the implement of encryption.
The ability to create and implement scripts within a Identity Management tool.
Experience in building scripts to run as pre-scripts and post-scripts on agent platforms, including process flow, script composition, return codes, and accessing user and system fields
ADDITIONAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED/QUALIFICATIONS:
Advanced knowledge of business protection systems and technology associated with computer security.
Advanced knowledge of computer security best practices and regulations.
Working knowledge of AIX and Windows NT operating systems, database management, data network architectures including solid understanding of TCP/IP, voice and data communications.
Working knowledge of VISIO and Microsoft Office applications.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain the enterprise BMC identity management infrastructure including development of IDM workflows using Java scripts.
Development and maintenance of roles based access controls (RBAC)
Assess individual machines, departments, and network segments for security risks/standards compliance.
Understand and develop procedures to regulate access to computer data files and prevent unauthorized modification, destruction or disclosure of information.
Ability to install and configure security software in computer networks.
Work with the computer user department staff and development staff to request programming changes. Plan data security for new or modified software, discuss issues such as employee data access needs and risk of data loss or disclosure.
Review unusual requests for computer access passwords and audit these.
Conduct security training for ITS by agreed upon annual date.
Prepare data use records for administration.
Answer questions about computer security.
