The successful candidate serves as a Computer Scientist in the NAS Enterprise Architecture Group. Will be responsible for providing support to the NAS Chief Architect to collect and analyze NAS Enterprise Architecture (EA) data, including EA integrated roadmaps. Provides support to the NAS Chief Architect, with other lines of business and Joint Planning & Development Office architects, in the coordination of architecture framework and data exchange information. Maintains and updates the NAS EA data, as well as maintains and enhances the NAS Architecture website. Represents the FAA at technical meetings, program reviews, and conferences. Uses an automated computer or internet-based method to electronically disseminate information. Other duties include the development and maintenance of databases to support analysis of operational improvements to the NAS, traffic demand forecasting, simulation modeling, and business trend analysis. Will work across disciplinary boundaries and develop multidisciplinary solutions to complex problems.
