Iowa Mutual Insurance Company (an affiliate of The Motorists Insurance Group) seeks a part-time Computer Operator (night shift) to join our Information Technology team in our DeWitt, Iowa office.  This part-time position averages about 32 hours per week.        

 

Our Computer Operator supports, operates and controls our mainframe and LAN computer systems.  In addition, this individual completes the nightly batch processing; ensures the availability of the online computer systems; and schedules, monitors and processes the daily/night work.  Candidates must be able to lift at least 75 lbs.

 

Ideal candidate will have:     

At least one year experience as a computer operator  Previous experience working with a mainframe operating system Superior attention to detail with judgment skillsAbility to show discretion when dealing with confidential informationAbility to perform duties with minimal supervisionAbility to perform routine tasks following established procedures and instructions provided
