Under general supervisor, monitors and controls computers by operating the central console or on-line terminals. Operates auxiliary equipment directly associated with the computer. Maintains records regarding output units and supply inventories. Assists in manipulating controls to rearrange sequence of job steps to continue operations when individual units of the system malfunction. Operate and maintain workstations controlling battlefield effects, targetry, and audio/video equipment of the Ft. Wainwright/Ft. Richardson DMPTR. Will operate Semi-Automated Forces (SAF) Workstation plus will provides orientation and demonstration of CCTT System Equipment. May be required to create and print various reports as required by the Team Leader. Perform other tasks and perform work at other lines of business as assigned by the Team Leader in a manner that enhances customer satisfaction. Will adhere to Company, Site Manager, Division Manager and Team leader directives, memoranda, policies and procedures. Support quality/ISO, security and safety training programs. Must know computer software and hardware operation. Prior Army with knowledge of Infantry, Armor, Calvary Operations. Must have valid drivers license, insurance and maintain Post driving privileges. Obtain Military licenses & Night Vision certification if required. Must be a U.S. Citizen and must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance. Willing to work any shift to include weekends, Holidays and overtime.
Must be able to perform duties and travel in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, and wind) and at height (towers and phone poles). Position is based at Ft. Wainwright but some travel will be required to support operations at Ft. Richardson. Will be required to travel per direction of Team Leader (when traveling, must be prepared to stay in Government furnished billeting and eat in government dining facilities, if available. Must be able to lift a maximum of 50 lbs. and wear appropriate personal protective equipment.
