This position will be located in Hermitage, Tennessee which is located outside of Nashville.
In 2008, Deloitte Financial Advisory Services LLP (Deloitte FAS) will open a new facility in Hermitage, TN for e-discovery and computer forensics work. Deloitte FAS' E-Discovery Solutions Center ("EDSC") will increase the capacity, quality, and efficiency of Deloitte FAS' e-file processing by utilizing state-of-the-art technology in a dedicated environment. The EDSC will be an important foundation from which we can launch our effort to seize a leadership position in a market expected to reach $4 Billion in service revenue by 2010. We are looking for dedicated individuals to join Deloitte FAS' Analytic & Forensic Technology practice and help drive the success of the EDSC.
Job Responsibilities:
§ Perform computer forensic services including digital evidence collection, preservation, analysis, data recovery, tape back-up and recovery, electronic mail extraction, and database examination
§ Perform comprehensive technical analyses and interpretations of computer-related evidence such as e-mail, accounting software, various databases, and information stored on electronic devices
§ Maintain detailed written work logs and case documentation following forensic procedures
§ Utilize various monitoring and filtering tools to measure and report on the state of security compliance
§ Communicate security concerns effectively to Computer Forensic Lead
§ Ensure all lab hardware and software are verified and validated as required by the Federal Rules of Evidence
§ Liaise regularly with Computer Forensic Lead to discuss progress and raise issues/concerns
§ Duplicate client environment to keep data in correct format
§ Restore files and catalogue data - per Bruce
§ Create directory structure and listings for analysis
§ Conduct virus scans
Qualifications:
§ Bachelor's degree preferably in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field
§ 3 years of hands-on experience in computer forensics, data mining or data analysis
§ EnCE required. GCFA, CISA, CISM, CCE, CISSP certifications preferred
§ Knowledge of computer forensics software, hardware, and methodologies, including use of tools such as Forensic Tool Kit (FTK), EnCase Forensic Edition, EnCase Enterprise Edition, and Paraben
§ Knowledge and understanding of information systems security; network architecture; general database concepts; document management; hardware and software troubleshooting; electronic mail systems (MS Exchange, Lotus Notes, etc)
§ Understanding of principles of forensic integrity in information acquisition, analysis, and reporting Ability to adhere to requirements for maintaining client confidentiality, attorney-client privilege, and work-product privilege
§ Extensive experience with search tools and technologies, both traditional (Term and Boolean) as well as Concept-based. This includes such tools as DTSearch, Wave Trident, Attenex Workbench and/or Mapper, Autonomy, etc
§ Experience in Litigation Support industry process, tools, and technologies
§ Strong analytical and organizational skills
