This position will manage a team responsible to develop and implement Company's Government Contract and 3rd Party Service Provider Compliance program. This will require defining and assessing risks associated with key government contract compliance matters on such issues as record keeping, employee training, workplace safety, and the supervision of subcontractors or consultants. Develop criteria to ascertain Key 3rd Party Service Providers, determine elements of a Compliance/Ethics program to be applied to those Providers, identify gaps in the Provider contracts and assist Lines of Businesses with prioritizing additional requirements for contract renegotiations. Ensure that the Government Contract and 3rd Party Service Provider Compliance Program incorporates policies, procedures, training, assessments, monitoring and testing reasonably designed to assure compliance with contract terms and federal, state and local regulations. Expected to lead specific contract compliance process improvements, serve as the subject matter expert for cross-functional projects, and provide consulting, training and coaching support to associates. Responsible for producing regular and ad hoc reports for executive management and the Board of Directors.Will have significant contact with outside Regulators and Senior Business Unit Managers.
Requirements:
MBA or JD or equivalent degree preferred10-15 years of relevant compliance-related experience, including a minimum of one (1) year working directly with government contracts. Working knowledge of governmental regulatory agencies Have experience with compliance as it relates to the financial services industry. Knowledge of the Financial Services industry, with familiarity in Asset Management, Asset Servicing, Broker/Dealer, Investment company, large scale processing, Cash Management. Experience dealing with examiners and knowledge of the workings of governmental regulatory agencies. Previous team lead or supervisory experience Proven ability to influence others, particularly at the senior management level. Strong interpersonal skills, and project management skills. Ability to manage a staff and numerous projects simultaneously.
