Description: WORK LOCATION MAY BE VIRTUAL, BUT LOCATION AT LOCKHEED MARTIN SITE IN ORLANDO, FL OR DENVER, CO IS STRONGLY PREFERRED.

As member of the Design Engineering team, this Enterprise Services position performs complex messaging systems design, development and supports implementation of infrastructure solutions for the enterprise diverse messaging system supporting 140,000 corporate users.

This position is responsible for successfully receiving and interpreting customer and enterprise requirements for messaging services. In accordance with those requirements, the incumbent also successfully performs technology planning, assessments, and design engineering solutions across multiple programs that are commensurate with the required performance, budget, and schedule constraints.

This position works closely with stakeholders, communicates regularly with vendors, peers and customers to stay current with the computing and messaging technology, and assists the Lockheed Martin customers in better understanding their tactical and strategic needs, developing plans accordingly. The incumbent successfully manages/leads large scale messaging engineering projects across multiple sites and works very closely with the Enterprise Services Sustaining Engineering and Operations teams. Position establishes hardware and software computing architecture to support customer requirements, and working with the messaging product manager, develops recommended courses of action in a technology roadmap for the enhancement and improvmeent of the enterprise messaging infrastructure. Qualifications: - Proven familiarity with messaging system architecture, administration, systems design, systems performance and application integration
- Demonstrated experience with O/S integration and design of messaging systems
- Expertise with Microsoft windows O/S, Microsoft Exchange and Outlook, SMTP, messaging standards, security (including anti malware, anti-virus, anti-spam, etc.) and design and implementation planning which is illustrated through related work experience.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills illustrated by work experience
- Experience successfully following standard engineering process,
- Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrated by experience working successfully well with suppliers and stakeholders Salary/Benefits: Salary commensurate with experience A Total Value package.
