Job Description: Are you creative, outgoing and do you lead by example? Adecco is currently recruiting for a Communications Manager in the Kansas City area. This is an immediate fill position so local applicants are highly encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Positions Summary: •Daily inserts of corporation communication on the intranet. •Layout of publications •Providing leadership to 5-10 associates in the public relations department •Public speaking and networking with valued clients throughout the Kansas City Market •Writing, editing, page layout, web sites management, multi media designs, copywriting and page design •Understands software packages used in desktop publishing. Fluent in Quark and Flash preferred •Need to have an outgoing personality, extremely polished, professional dressed and not be afraid to talk to anyone at any point in time •Must be extremely detail oriented, no tolerance for errors Qualifications: •Strong verbal and written communication skills •Flexibility, adaptability, and sense of urgency •Bachelor's degree preferred and or related experience in a similar environment •Minimum of two to five years experience with a proven track record in management, writing/editing/printing and public speaking presentations •Must have work experience in writing, editing, page layout, websites, multi media designs, copywriting and page design •Candidate will be in the public eye and must be able to communicate and create presentations to 2nd grade level children to executive professionals •Planning/organizational skills and ability to work independently and under daily pressures to meet established deadlines Qualified candidates may e-mail their resume, cover letter, and salary history To deana.kueter@adeccona.com, with Communications Manager in the subject line.
