The Time Warner Cable Northeast/West Region office currently seeks an Regional Commercial Sales Representative (Job ID 98601BR) for our Commercial Sales Department. Below please find a brief description of the essential duties and responsibilities required to function successfully in this position.

Essential Job Functions:
Primary function is to place outound calls and/or handle incoming calls from the existing account base. This position will bridge and up-sell on inbound and/or outbound calls, increasing average revenue per account. Identify sales opportunities on every inbound and/or outbound call and recommend video, data, and voice solutions. The Commercial Sales Representative will work closely at times with the Account Executives finalizing business.


Primary focus is on inbound and/or outbound calls from or to client base; refers customers to Account Executives when appropriate. Provides product information and responds to inquiries over the phone. Conducts a needs analysis over the phone, identifies TWC product solutions, develops and presents recommendations, solicits contracts and orders, and communicates service delivery intervals. Works in a team based environment with the Account Executive and Support Representatives to ensure sales goals and customer requests are met.
Responsible for timely and accurate completion of customer related paperwork. Maintains multiple databases including ICOMS, Closetabs, and Survey Tracker. Keeps daily records of sales contacts made, proposals/recommendations sent, and contracts received. Responsible for properly documenting and tracking installed sales for commissions. Communicates daily with the Business Class Sales Manager. Provides activity and sales results on a daily basis. Responsible for continuous learning as new Time Warner Cable Business Class products are introduced as well as staying abreast of evolving technology and how these technologies can impact the client base.
Meets monthly and annual sales goals.


Job Requirements:

Must possess a minimum of 2 years Telecommunications, Internet, or Cable industry experience. Previous experience in a Call Center and/or telemarketing sales environment required. Previous experience in a business to business sales or service environment preferred. Knowledge of ICOMS, Closetabs, and Survey Tracker helpful. Customer service skills and thorough understanding of technologies required.


Familiarity with computers, e-mail, databases, Excel, word processing, and contact management software. Working knowledge of Internet protocol (IP) network applications. Basic knowledge of wiring design and terminology. Exceptional ability to qualify a client, perform a thorough needs analysis, recommend a solution, deliver our value proposition, overcome objections, and close a sale over the phone. Exceptional ability to segue, upsell, and cross sell. Requires an understanding of the competitive landscape and ability to differentiate Time Warner Cable Business Class from our competitors. Working knowledge of general marketing principles, tools and processes. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Ability to work well in a high performance, team based environment. Ability to multi-task and maintain several databases.
Ability to communicate and develop relationships with business clients over the phone. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.


Education:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Two years of college or Associate’s degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Computer Science or related field preferred.
