Marcus & Millichap's Central Research Team has an immediate opportunity for a Commercial Real Estate Market Analyst

The Analyst will be part of a team responsible for researching and analyzing commercial real estate markets across the nation. Candidates should be able to learn by doing and should not be afraid to ask “why” questions instead of settling for “how.” The qualified candidate will be able to analyze economic and/or real estate market data to identify trends and draw supportable conclusions. The Analyst may also provide some presentation support for major industry conventions and conferences, in addition to assisting with custom market analyses for high-profile proposals and property marketing packages. The candidate must be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and will occasionally be required to work long hours to meet deadlines. The ideal candidate will be an innovative achiever who is able to follow direction guidelines and take ownership of each project assigned.

The Qualified Candidate:

§Must demonstrate initiative and tenacity.

§Must take on each assignment with a strong sense of ownership and pride.

§Must be very detail oriented

§Must posses solid math skills.

§Should have the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.

§Must thrive in a team environment.

§Must posses advanced PC skills - MS Office (Specifically Excel and PowerPoint), email, Internet.

§2+ years professional analysis experience in real estate or financial services a plus.

§MUST HAVE a bachelor's degree.
