Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer/Relationship Manager

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

One of Michigan's largest privately held thrift institutions is looking for a Commercial Real Estate Loan Officer/Relationship Manager for its San Francisco Bay area office. The bank has built a reputation on providing innovative and creative financial solutions that exceed customer expectations. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

Examines, evaluates, and authorizes or recommends approval of customer applications for commercial real estate loans by performing the following duties:

Interview applicant and requests specified information for loan application
Request applicant credit reports, background checks, reference checks, and other information pertinent to loan applicant's evaluationAnalyzes applicant financial status, credit, and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loan or submits application to credit analyst for verification and recommendation
Corresponds with or interviews applicant or creditors to resolve questions regarding application informationCompiles loan package and facilitates negotiation of loan structure with applicant, including fees, loan repayment options, and other credit termsApproves loan within specified limits or refers loan to loan committee for approvalEnsures loan agreements are complete and accurate according to policyAssures timely loan closing and funding activitiesIdentifies and analyzes potential loan markets to develop prospects for commercial loansPromotes and cross-sells other establishment products and services as appropriate to customer requirementsProvides loan data to support marketing and sales promotion programs

NO SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree from a four-year University
3 or more years experience and/of training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
