SunTrust Bank has an immediate need for a Commercial Real Estate Banker 2 in the Columbus, Georgia market.  This person will be responsible for producing and maintaining a commercial real estate portfolio, commercial, residential and acquisition and development, across two markets in Georgia.  Calls on prospects and attends to the needs of present customers.  Keeps abreast of trends, developments and current regulations in the industry and in local markets.  Cross-sells other bank services to customers, as appropriate.  Reports to local Commercial Real Estate Banking Manager.

Minimum Requirements: 

Demonstrates ability to successfully manage portfolio size around $10-25MM or equivalent combination of size and complexity, with deposits generally in the range of $5-10MM.  Portfolio management will deal directly with commercial real estate clients.  Bachelor Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or equivalent commercial banking experience.

Preferred Requirements:

Prefer graduate of a Commercial Training Program OR equivalent experience in commercial sales and credit.
