Leader Bank, N.A. has an immediate opportunity for a Commercial Portfolio Manager.  This position is the perfect opportunity for an experienced commercial loan underwriter to take the next in their career.  The selected individual will play a key role in supporting the credit function of a growing commercial lending department at a locally owned and operated community bank.

 Responsibilities:

·        Manage and monitor entire commercial loan credit process for new loans (application/ processing/underwriting/approval/closing) as well as post closing documentation review. 

·        Produce loan summaries presentations with complete financial analysis for new loan applications and recommends approval, denial or alternate structure based upon analysis.

·        Manage portfolio quality control by conducting appraisal reviews, environmental report reviews and real estate site inspections to ensure accuracy, logic and regulatory compliance.

·        Prepare annual credit review of all loans on an ongoing basis.

 

Requirements:

·        BS/BA with course work in Accounting, Economics and/or Finance.

·        4 - 6  years of Commercial Credit analysis/underwriting or commercial loan review experience.  Experience underwriting SBA loans strongly preferred.

·        Prior experienced underwriting commercial loans (real estate, C&I and SBA).

·        Thorough understanding of loan documentation supporting CRE, C&I and SBA credits.

·        Working knowledge of commercial lending policies and procedures.

·        Excellent writing skills.

·        Strong interpersonal skills to deal effectively with all levels of customers.

·        Knowledge of accounting principles.

·        Ability to operate a personal computer with knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.
