Located in Wasilla, our Alaska office is staffed by Alaskans who specialize in underwriting Alaskan businesses. 

 

We have an opening for a commercial multi-line P&C underwriter. You and your team are responsible for profitable risk selection, premium growth, satisfying customers’ needs and meeting service commitments.  Within the team environment you will also share responsibility for program and product development.

 

Experience/Skills

Minimum 3-5 years multi-line commercial underwritingExperience with the Alaska marketplaceProven sales/business development skillsStrong analytical and negotiation skillsAlaska producer and managing general agent license (or ability to obtain)Knowledge of ISO CLM and AAIS coverage and ratingCPCU, CIC, ARM or similar designations preferred
