CITY: Open STATE: Unspecified State COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities): The Commercial Leadership Program (CLP) is a two-year program that includes three 8-month rotations into a variety of commercial functions. The program prepares candidates for a successful career in sales by providing the opportunity to learn about our products, industry, and customers while simultaneously making valuable contributions to the organization. * Candidates will focus on mastering product and sales skills while learning the skills and competencies needed to become an Account Manager. The CLP program accelerates learning and productivity by on-the-job training, headquarters sponsored training, mentoring and detailed assignments. Assignments will be tailor-made to the candidate's education and background, which could include: * Functional assignments to understand business processes. * Inside Sales or Field Sales. * Competitive analysis. * Strategic projects. * Pre and post order support. * Key success factors include demonstrated technical ability, ability to identify customer needs, qualify and close opportunities, qualify leads, networking skills, data analysis skills, project management, and the ability to build and maintain strong internal and customer relationships. Work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with opportunity to move to an Account Manager position upon graduation from CLP. * The CLP will become 6 Sigma Green Belt certified while in this role requiring both passing the Green Belt exam as well as completing a project to be determined. Qualifications/Requirements: * Bachelors Degree - Engineering. * Minimum GPA 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale. * Prior internship or co-op experience. * Geographic mobility. * Demonstrated interest in sales career & results oriented. * Excellent communication & interpersonal skills. =============================================== GE Applicants: * You must submit application online via COS to be considered.
