Job Description:
Professional, highly skilled, technical outside account representatives to sell an enterprise software product, through a consultative, solution-oriented approach, to Fortune 1000 companies and channel partners. Company provides data management software applications; this includes data backup, archiving, recovery/disaster recovery, replication, creation, etc.Candidate must have the ability to manage all aspects of the sales process including identification and qualification of opportunities with technical and business requirements, assist engineering in customizing and delivering overall solution, negotiate and successfully close sales cycle.Outside Sales responsibilities will include:
Managing Commercial Accounts Developing new sales opportunities within established customer and channel partners Prospecting for new opportunities within territory, outside of existing customer and reseller base Delivery of sales presentation to potential customers, effectively communicating strategic benefits of product Territory will include Maryland and DelawareSkills Required:
Minimum 6+ years direct sales experience with proven track record of having exceeded established performance goals Bachelors Degree (Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline preferred) Ability to evaluate situations and present complex solutions Effective, strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills needed for phone, webinar and on-site presentations Knowledge and proficiency with at least one operating system (UNIX, NetWare, Windows NT/2000) a plus Positive attitude, commitment, drive and enthusiasm Proficient with MS Office
