Description:
Volt Telecommunications Group is seeking a Combination Technician SW & IW in the Nashville, TN area. DO NOT assume we have your resume. Must have a good working knowledge of central offices, Channel Banks, IAD's and DSL, certifications will be helpful, but not necessary. Maximum salary of $22.00/hour includes starting salary of $16.00/hour and $6.00/hour Truck and Tool allowance.

Physical Job Activities: Medium to Heavy, Standing 20%, Walking 10%, Sitting 5%, Climbing 10%, Lifting 10%, Bending 15%, Driving 15%, and Stooping 15%.

Requirements:
Along with the requirements listed above the successful candidate will be on call 24/7; primary work time is 8:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. Must respond to any call outs quickly; have a working cell phone; laptop with Windows XP or Office 2003. Must be a U. S. citizen, be able to speak and write English clearly, able to pass initial drug testing, background check and random drug testing Must have valid driver license, auto insurance and clean driving record. Technicians are responsible for gas and upkeep of the vehicle maintaining valid vehicle insurance. Some required tools are, dial test set, toner and probe, can wrench, tamper proof tool, wire wrap and unwrap tool, and a voltage meter.
