Position Description:

LSI's Global Business Systems group is seeking a recent/upcoming college grad to assist in designing, implementing, and supporting Finance IT solutions which improve business efficiency and productivity. This position will ideally be based in Colorado Springs, CO but will also consider the Allentown, PA location. Responsibilities will include : • Technically support existing SAP Finance Modules and Hyperion Applications. • Liaison extensively with the business units, technology teams and support teams. • Participation in cross functional teams to increase the efficiency of business processes • System configuration to maintain and improve business processes • Testing and support of system upgrade activities • User support and training • Documentation of processes.

Qualifications:

Education Required Degree: BA/BS Preferred Major: Information System (major) with Accounting (minor) OR Accounting (major) with Information Systems (minor) Note - NOT seeking a Computer Science/ Computer Engineering major or minor, or a Finance major. The preferred candidate will have a dual major in Accounting & Information Systems from the Business College. Required Skills • A proactive self-starter who is motivated by constant challenges. • Able to keep current with technical developments in the software the Analyst supports. • Able to elicit requirements by leading interviews, document analysis, leading requirement workshops, and reviewing business process descriptions. • Critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. • Proactively communicate and collaborate with IT personnel and end users to analyze information needs and functional requirements. • Ability to participate in multiple initiatives simultaneously. • Ability to consistently meet deadlines. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a geographically dispersed diverse group, managers, and subject matter experts. • Serve as a conduit between the customer community and the software development team. • Collaborate with developers and subject matter experts to analyze tradeoffs between usability of solution and performance needs of IT. Desired Skills: The preferred candidate would have completed work experience (internship) at a company in Accounting utilizing Hyperion and/or SAP softwares.
