COLLEGE COMPOSITION INSTRUCTOR.  The Department of English at West Virginia University invites applications for a full-time position at the Instructor level to teach composition to a community of first-generation college students. The position begins August 16, 2008.  Salary is $30,000 for nine months and includes benefits.  This is a one-year appointment, with potential for renewal.  QUALIFICATIONS include a Master’s degree or higher in English or a related field and substantial teaching experience, particularly introductory composition and argument at the college level.  Successful candidates must demonstrate excellence in teaching composition and be committed to working with undergraduates.
