Imperial A.I.Credit Corp. has an open position in its Jersey City location at 101 Hudson Street. This location is one stop (5 – 10 minutes) on the PATH train from the downtown Chambers Street – WTC station.
Position Description:
The Collection Representative is responsible for facilitating the transfer of funds related to canceled insurance policies within assigned regions. The Collection Representative will also be responsible for notifying customers with respect to requirements for reinstatement of cancelled insurance policies.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Act as point of contact for customers in designated portfolio assignment
• Contact customers with respect to recently cancelled accounts
and potential for reinstatement
Heavy phone • contact with representatives of agents/brokers and insurance carriers.
• Ensure and maintain the financial integrity of accounts in assigned portfolio by maintaining complete and detailed records of transactions relating to assigned portfolio.
• Lite customer service functions such as communicating with internal/external customers about billing questions or problems.
• Analyze and resolve problems by coordinating with appropriate departments and personnel to ensure accurate billing/receivable information.
• Confer with management on a weekly basis regarding any problem accounts.

•Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
•Must demonstrate analytical and problem-solving skills
