Brink’s U.S., a division of Brink’s, Incorporated, is the premiere provider of armored car transportation, ATM servicing, currency and coin processing and other value added services to financial institutions, retailers and other commercial and government entities.  The company has a proud history of providing growth and advancement opportunities for its employees.  We have a challenging opportunity for a Coin Sorter/Wrapper at our Branch located in Minneapolis, MN.  This position is responsible for operating a coin sorter or wrapper in a high volume production environment.    

 

Specific Job Duties:

·         Regulates equipment by setting and adjusting controls

·         Maintains specifications by observing operations; detecting malfunctions; inspecting parts; adjusting controls

·         Resolves production problems by altering process to meet specifications; notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources

·         Ensures operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs

·         Ensures wrapped/processed coin is free of any foreign material for maximum product quality

·         Contributes to a cooperative team atmosphere

 Skills/Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability in:

·         Manufacturing experience

·         Attention to detail

·         Safely and efficiently work in a piece rate environment

·         Manual dexterity

·         Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

·         Must be willing to work in an armed environment and may be required to qualify for a firearm permit
