Join our dynamic Compliance and Education Team (“Team”). This Team is the critical element in St. Luke's Compliance Program and members of the Team work hand in hand with personnel throughout the St. Luke's System (Board Members, administration, physicians, nurses, office staff, etc.) to: (i) prospectively develop processes and practices that are in compliance with state and federal laws and regulations; and (ii) correct compliance concerns.
Hospital Coding Compliance Coordinator (Posting #4204)
ü Graduation from an accredited School of Health Information Management (AS or BS) experienced with coding and technical skills with current credentials from AHIMA (RHIT, RHIA, CCS)
ü A minimum of 3 years experience in a healthcare environment related to auditing of medical records and CMS and 3rd party payor compliance; and hospital coding and inpatient and outpatient medical record documentation; and
ü A minimum of 3 years management experience; experience developing presentations to present to groups of up to 20 individuals.
ü Excellent working knowledge of DRGs and ICD-9, HCPCS and APC codes;
Physician Coding Compliance Coordinator (Posting #4203)
ü CPC or CCS required.
ü Minimum of 3 years experience in a healthcare environment related to auditing of physician medical records and CMS and 3rd party payor compliance; as well as physician coding and physician medical record documentation;
ü Minimum of 3 years management experience;
ü Experience developing presentations to present to groups of up to 20 individuals.
ü Excellent working knowledge of CPT and HCPCS codes;
