What you’ll do:

You’ll work with care providers to assess the medical necessity and quality of mental health services by conducting preadmission, continued stay, and retrospective utilization management reviews.  You’ll be trained on the clinical review processes.

What you’ll bring:

You have at least four years of mental health clinical experience and/or equivalent work experience plus a Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or nursing.  You also have demonstrated computer proficiency and active, current, and unrestricted licensure as regulated by the Alaska Board of Social Work Examiners, Alaska Board of Psychologist & Psychological Associate Examiners, Alaska Board of Professional Counselors, or the Alaska Board of Registered Nursing Examiners.  Experience with UR, UM, CM, care coordination, and/or quality improvement is preferred.
