We are currently seeking candidates for a full-time Clinical Pharmacy Specialist at Riverview Psychiatric Center in Augusta, ME. 

 

Our ideal candidate has experience in a hospital setting.  Maine licensure required. 

 

The Riverview Psychiatric Center (RPC) is a 92 bed acute care inpatient psychiatric hospital operated by the State of Maine. Riverview treats any referred and appropriate adult who require intensive 24-hour psychiatric services from the following counties: Androscoggin, Cumberland, Franklin, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Oxford, Sagadahoc, Somerset, Waldo, and York. All services are provided without regard to race, creed, color, sex, national origin, ancestry, age, physical handicap or ability to pay.

Riverview Psychiatric Center is the only treatment facility fully operated by the State of Maine for these counties provides recovery services in an involuntary inpatient hospital setting for those who require a secure and safe setting, and those who require extended periods of inpatient treatment and/or rehabilitation. Riverview is also the only State operated Forensic hospital, providing a wide range of psychiatric services to the correction system and the Maine court system, including care for those committed under the criminal statutes for observation and evaluation (Stage III), those determined Incompetent to Stand Trail (IST) and those committed to the State as Not Criminally Responsible (NCR). These are individual who require highly specialized programs of both psychiatric care and security not available elsewhere in Maine.
