Children's is seeking a Clinical Nurse (RN) in our Radiology Department. With state-of-the-art equipment and a nationally recognized medical staff, the Radiology department at Children’s performs more than 200,000 procedures annually, including CT scanning, MRI, nuclear medicine, ultrasound/sonography, diagnostic and interventional radiology.

The clinical nurse will perform the functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care of complex patients and is proficient in the application of the nursing process. The nurse promotes collaboration within the health care team for the provision of developmentally appropriate care to patients and families.

Position is Part-Time or Full-time

 Friday & Saturdays or Saturdays Only

10-hour shifts with rotating Saturday’s (at least one per month)

Requirements

Current RN (or eligible) in the State of Texas or Compact RN.

Current Healthcare Provider CPR/BLS certification required.

Previous pediatric nursing in a radiology or PACU setting strongly  preferred.

PALS certification required
