BSN from accredited college/university Valid Driver's License Ability to travel

Preferred qualifications:

MSN Critical Care nurse education experience Thrombolytic knowledge. Excellent presentation, coaching and interpersonal skills required. Excellent oral and written communication skills required. Experience with GSK Critical and Supportive Care products preferred.

Details:

PURPOSE/KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Identify and maximize rapport with influential critical care nurse customers to establish and/or expand the use of critical care products. Demonstrate advanced knowledge of all GlaxoSmithKline critical care products and markets. Design, develop and deliver critical care educational programs. Coordinate symposia and continuing education seminars for customers. Develop and demonstrate a thorough working knowledge of GSK and competitive products and maintain knowledge of current science, scientific research, and publications in critical care. Identify and maintain knowledge of regional and national speakers. Assist with keeping speakers current on literature and educational materials. Maintain current speaker lists and records. Provide in-service education on all GSK products products. Lead and facilitate regional and national advisory boards. Develop and design nurse disease management guidelines. Serve as trouble shooter for specific clinical questions regarding GSK products. Educate Critical and Supportive Care Account Managers and Medical Scientists in skills related to the nursing aspects of GSK products. Provide product training to Critical and Supportive Care Account Managers. Create regional business plan with input from the Regional Sales Director and AMs and take an active role in implementing business strategies and tactics to meet regional and national objectives. Maintain GSK Product Proficiencies 40% to 50% travel required. Assist Regional Sales Director in designing, developing and conducting appropriate training and RBCs w/in the Region
