The Clinical Manager compiles documented outcomes by area and provides clinical education support for the hospital.  As the nation's premier provider of hospital pharmacy management services, Cardinal Health can offer you an outstanding career opportunity with a growing organization.  By joining the Cardinal Health team, you will be given the operational and clinical resources and training to help both you and the hospital reach the next level.  Principal Duties/Responsibilities:Provide clinical support and direction to the Director of Pharmacy (DOP) and pharmacy staff in the hospitalBuild and enhance professional relationships with pharmacy staff and managementCommunicate effectively with pharmacy staff, hospital and system pharmacy managementProvide pharmaceutical care to selected patientsDevelop drug therapy review programs and document their resultsActively participate in the management process of the hospitalParticipate in Pharmacy and Therapeutics (P&T) Committee meetingsCoordinate vendor activities to support formulary decisionsEstablish procedures that ensure optimum performance for applicable auditsDevelop and coordinate clinically related quality improvement programs that meet all proprietary, regulatory, and accreditation standardsParticipate in the assessment and evaluation of professional staffProvide in-service education to medical, nursing and pharmacy staffTrain and educate pharmacy staff to provide pharmaceutical care and practice Econotherapeutic related conceptsParticipate in the publication of educational material directed at hospital health care professionalsDirect and coordinate clinical clerkship programs for pharmacy and other health care professional trainees Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) preferred3-5 years experience managing clinical programs is requiredPharmacy license in the stateProven customer service skills
