Position Description:

DESCRIPTION: Responsible for coordination and oversight of clinical programs for the State of Nevada Public Programs. Responsibilities: • Provides clinical supervision and problem-solves with clinical staff on clinical issues in conjunction with the Medical Director; • Responsible for establishing disease management procedures and work flow documents to ensure services are delivered according to established “touch levels”; • Recruits, trains, evaluates Case Managers, Health Coaches and Disease Management Coordinators in areas for which they are hired and maintains adequate clinical staffing ratios; • In cooperation with the Management Team, will assist in the development and ongoing refinement of screening tools and procedures; • Participates in staff training/orientation program; • Completes documentation audits and silent monitoring for continuous quality improvement. • Coordinate processing of clinical staff assignments. • Keep current on all applicable contract policies, plans, procedures, and guidelines. • Orient new staff to job expectations and performance measures. • Evaluate performance/behavior and develop work improvement plans. • Monitor contract compliance and performance measures • Conduct regular supervision meetings to inform and educate employees on expectations and providing performance feedback. • Other duties as assigned by the Executive Director. EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Registered Nurse with active license in Nevada, Licensed Clinical Social worker, or Licensed Mental Health Professional. Master’s Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Clinical Psychology or Nursing preferred. EXPERIENCE: • 3-5 years of experience in supervisory capacity, preferably disease management and/or clinical care coordination services; • Experience developing and providing training to a variety of audiences • Analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment • Excellent clinical assessment skills; • Medicaid experience preferred • Knowledge of principles, ethics and precepts of medical health care.
