Responsibilities for the Clinical Liaison RN- ED- Evenings include: Functioning as a clinical role model while delivering expert care to select groups of patients/families in area of specialization Serving as patient/family advocate Assisting the nursing staff to solve patient care problems Assisting the nursing staff in the development of decision-making skills in clinical situations Identifying learning needs of the nursing staff while in the clinical practice setting Facilitating patient flow through the department and through the house Handling ad hoc requests

Required Skills

5+ years of progressive nursing experience with a minimum of 2 years of emergency room experience Valid New York State RN license Master's degree in Nursing - or actively pursuing Current verifications in ACLS, PALS, BLS & TNCC (or equivalent training)
