Sodexo is seeking a Registered Dietitian tocome join their dynamic team in Kansas City, MO. Northland Hospital is a brand new rehab hospital opened in April 2008, facility is licenced for 50 beds. This position will have clinicial responsibilities and will assist the General Manager-Multiple Services in the day to day supervision of the food service department in order to comply with the regulations of the State of Missouri. This position will be the key point of contact for State of Missouri regulatory compliance as applicable to food service. Position Summary: Provides basic nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in basic principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction. Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required: None Basic Functional Experience Required: No previous work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics required + registry eligible.
