POSITION:  Clinical Dietitian

LOCATION:  Grand Island, Columbus or Scottsbluff, Nebraska

As our Clinical Dietitian, you will plan, organize, develop and direct the overall operation of the Dietary Department in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing our facility, and as may be directed by the Administrator, to assure that quality nutritional services are provided on a daily basis and that the dietary department is maintained in a clean, safe and sanitary manner.

We have 3 Full time positions that would be great for a someone just starting out in the field of Dietetics.

Locations are:

Grand Island, NE- Full time Clinical Dietitian to be shared between two long term care facilities in the city of Grand Island.

Columbus, NE- full time Clinical Dietitian actually the Dept Director and there is an assistant that assists with the running of the kitchens

Scottsbluff, NE - Full time Clinical Dietitian and then consults to Sidney, NE approx 1-2 times a month.

Requirements

-B.S. Degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition.

 -Continuing education to meet requirements for registration as set forth by the American Dietetic  Association (15 hours per year) and to meet state licensure requirements.

-Desirable is at least (2) years experience as a professional dietitian in long-term care with some administrative responsibility, or one (1) year’s experience as a registered consulting dietitian to one or more long- term care facilities.  However, exceptional new grads with a sincere desire to work with seniors are encouraged to apply 

 -Must maintain active membership and registration in the American Dietetics Association.

 -Must maintain active state license and membership in State Dietetic Association and District Dietetic Association.

 -Must be ale to relate positively and favorably to fellow employees, vendors, and company requests.
