Experienced Registered Licensed Dietitian needed to provide MNT at an acute care facility in FL. Must be computer literate and able to navigate computer charting in a timely manner. Responsible for patient care activities: Assess nutritional needs, develop and implement nutrition care plans, participate in patient/staff education, including monthly diabetes education classes and quality assurance activities. Limited supervision (1-2 employees). The dietitian will work together with the employees of the department to provide optimal food and nutritional services to patients, visitors and staff. Some time may be spent doing same work as members of the group ~cb~. Sacred Heart Emerald Coast is a 60-bed hospital located in the beautiful northern Florida resort city of Destin.

Position Summary: Provides comprehensive nutrition assessments and care planning for patients/residents. Plans special diets and supervises their preparation. Instructs patients/residents and/or hospital personnel in principles of nutrition and modifications of normal diet. Performs routine care responsibilities without training and direction. Basic Education Requirement: Bachelor's Degree Basic Management/Supervisory Experience Required: None Basic Functional Experience Required: 2 years work experience in health care including hospitals, nursing homes, assisted or independent living facilities, long-term care, retirement homes, or clinics + registered dietitian.
