Clinical Coordinator, Nursing Administration

 

This individual manages clinical operations to include staffing schedules, phone access to the health care team, and patient flow. This individual is responsible for all appropriate documentation and reporting requirements, such as QA reports, performance evaluations, time sheets, and budget variance reports. In this position, you will develop staffing plans, work with the human resources team to recruit and hire staff, and coordinate comprehensive orientation of the new staff. You will also establish accountabilities and performance goals, develop and manage quality improvement initiatives, and ensure compliance with HEDIS indicators and other mandated standards.

 

A BSN or bachelor's degree in health care administration or other health-related field, or equivalent years of related experience required. Current RN licensure and CPR certification also required. Five years of current clinical experience plus two years of supervisory experience; familiarity with all pertinent laws, regulations, and standards of nursing practice; and a demonstrated competence with financial management principles and standard software applications in a Windows environment are all essential.
