Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Clinical Coordinator:

Instructs, directs and supervises the students in the clinical externship Assists in the development of clinical externship sites Ensures clinical externships meet the standards outlined by the company Coordinates the externship experience with the didactic segment Maintains a positive relationship with externship sites

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to respond to and work with a diverse population. Develops and maintains relationships with clinical externship sites. Ensures proper record-keeping and documentation of clinical activities. Evaluates and facilitates clinical education effectiveness through a schedule of regular visits to the clinical education sites. Facilitates and/or provides appropriate direct and indirect supervision and instruction of the students in the clinical setting. Facilitates and/or provides clinical competency evaluation for each student assigned to the clinical site. Implements and/or assists in clinical rotations which allows the student to achieve course objectives. Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements. Participates in planning curriculum, teaching schedule, and course outline. Coordinates and maintains student clinical records while maintaining confidentiality Participates in continuing education to improve evaluation skills and maintain relative professional competence. Represents the Company, internally and externally, by participation on boards and committees. Follows mission/goals of the Company. Perform related duties as required.
