Position Description:

Misys Healthcare System is looking for a Customer Account Manager. The ideal candidate will be the primary contact to an assigned set of Misys client accounts to drive the adoption, retention and satisfaction of Misys products and services. To achieve this, the account manager will maintain client awareness through regular, proactive client contact, while ensuring effective ongoing issue and jeopardy management. The Account Manager will also work very closely with various interdepartmental teams, namely the Sales organization, to define additional ways to increase revenue opportunities within their assigned client base. The key objectives are to ensure overall client satisfaction and retention, while identifying revenue and adoption opportunities within each client account.
Qualifications:
Primary Responsibilities Responsible for effectively managing client retention, growth and adoption of the Misys products and services by their assigned client accounts. Demonstrate effective strategic account management skills to successfully uncover opportunities for account penetration and increased client growth, working in conjunction with other Misys sales and service departments to achieve above-expectation results Overall Responsibilities • Build and maintain client profile and pertinent information needed to develop strategy plans. At a minimum will annually build one year tactical plans and three-to-five year strategic plans to address clients’ needs. • Retain and build strong trusted relationships from user to C-level contacts, increase usage and adoption levels, and identify opportunities for increased growth and revenue. This is achieved through continued education, entrenchment and penetration of various contact levels of a client’s organization, and managing the client’s account profile and strategic plan. • Maintain the effective Misys client lifecycle of an assigned base of accounts, utilizing a high degree of successful Project Management acumen and organizational skills. • Successfully maintain extensive interaction with various members of cross-functional teams to ensure focus and delivery of services and solutions. • Maintain consistent and effective proactive communication with the assigned client base. Ensure prompt client issue resolution with the appropriate Misys organizations, striving for maximum client satisfaction. • Clarify client expectations for implementations; ensure smooth coordination of project resources. • Exhibit leadership by providing suggestions for improving processes and approach in managing clients. • Ensure 100% completion of strategic and tactical client plans. Own the client – maintain a comprehensive understanding of client’s needs, along with status of all projects and activities concerning the client. Help the client realize the value of what they purchased. • Overall client satisfaction is a measure of the account manager’s success. • Keep clients on current versions. * Position requires up to 50% travel. Qualifications and Experience • 2+ years of successful client account management and development within the healthcare industry. • Maintains broad and conversant knowledge of all Misys products. • Organizational Skills o Managing large client accounts and/or multiple client accounts with multiple products – able to prioritize multiple objectives and initiatives, and successfully multi-task in a fast-paced environment. o Maintaining client expectations through the virtual “leadership” of a service delivery organization, in both jeopardy and account development opportunities. o Superior communication skills (written and verbal). • Proven ability to effectively present to Executive Management. • Healthcare industry knowledge desired • Must possess the ability to manage day-to-day work with minimal supervision. • Well organized and articulate; must be able to execute effectively after receiving general instructions for new assignments. • Ability to achieve objectives in a dynamic and interrupt-driven environment.
