Farmers Union Insurance seeks an experienced Claims Adjuster on a temporary (seasonal) basis to be located at our Lincoln, Nebraska field office location. The timeframe for this opportunity will be from approximately from now to October or depending on claims. We are looking for quality people who either have property estimating experience or who are willing to learn how to adjust property claims due to storm damage.

Make timely and appropriate contacts and completes appropriate level of investigation to make determination of coverage, liability and damages. Determines exposure and makes timely adjustments as required.
Work will be primarily outdoors performing inspections of roofs and other property. May require overnight stay both in and out of state. Qualifications: Qualifications
Education
High School or equivalent
Requirements

oAbility to lift 25 pounds, stoop, bend, and climb stairs
oAbility to climb a roof with a reasonable pitch
oBasic computer experience to include typing
oValid driver's license with a good driving record
oRequires an acceptable credit history record
