Summary:

An Engineering Specialist is responsible for the structural design of oil and gas production platforms (jacket and deck) for offshore floating and fixed structures, helidecks, equipment modules, and flare booms for new installations as well as upgrades and retrofits to existing platforms.  This involves computer modeling, using software such as SACS, STRUCAD STAAD and/or ANSYS, of structures and modules from conceptual engineering through fabrication and installation offshore.

 

Requirements:

BSCE or MSCE

Five to ten years experience in the offshore Oil and Gas industry

P.E. (Professional Engineer) designation a plus
