Superior Tank Co., Inc. is a medium size bolted and welded steel storage tank manufacturer, established in 1984 and located in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. The majority of our tanks are sold in California and Texas, but we look to expand our market throughout the United States and internationally.

We currently have an immediate opening for a Civil or Structural Engineer with a California Professional Engineering Stamp. However, a Texas state stamp is helpful too.

Job Responsibilities include structural engineering calculations for the design of water and oil steel storage tanks, and their foundations, ranging in capacity from 10,000 gallons to 8.0 million gallons using AWWA and API design codes. Also, responsibilities would include reviewing fabrication drawings to ensure compliance to project specifications and drawings. Design work will also include concrete foundations, walkways, baffle systems, stairways, and other integral parts of a steel reservoir.

Job Requirements include familiarity with seismic response spectra calculations, anchor bolt designs, STAAD, Enercalc and a working knowledge of hydraulic structure designs.
