Specific Duties/Requirements Include:

Project management of concurrent civil engineering projects for local governments, commercial developments, residential subdivisions and site development including client interface, agency coordination, deadline and job cost management.

Development of engineering designs including layout, permitting, due diligence, water, storm drain and sanitary sewer design, utility design, grading and paving.

Apply knowledge of grading and drainage principles, detention analysis, flood plain mitigation, paving design and storm water quality.

Supervise and direct production staff on CAD in preparation of civil engineering construction drawings.

Designs construction projects by studying project concept, architectural drawings, and models.

Prepares engineering design by collecting and studying reports, maps, drawings, blueprints, aerial photographs and tests on soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and related topographical and geologic data.

Confirms adherence to construction specifications and safety standards by monitoring project progress; inspecting construction site; verifying calculations and placements.

Skills and Qualifications:

To be considered for this exceptional career opportunity, you will need a BS in Civil

Engineering, registered/licensed in Tennessee, Proficiency in the use of AutoCAD and engineering design software, must be authorized to work in the United States
