Director of Finance and Investor Relations

The Director of Finance and Investor relations will be Responsible for developing and executing a clear and focused investor relations plan. Implement strategy and tactics for this program in close partnership with the executives. Key functions of the Director of Finance and Investor relations will be to create financial projections and valuations of the company and peers in order to recommend different methods to increase the company value.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Provide on-going, direct interface with institutional investors and research analysts concerning financial expectations, business strategy and industry trends. This interface will be in the form of one-on-one meetings and informal telephone conversations reviewing current events of Cos, strategic objectives, 'Street' perceptions, etc. Assimilate sufficient information to conduct broad, as well as specific, detailed discussions with the investment community.

•Communicate with all levels of investors from potential shareholders to owners with investments in the company's equities.
Analyze quarterly results and compile important statistics and other relevant information for use at the quarterly conference call with analysts/investors and throughout the quarter during regular discussions with investors.
•Create presentations needed by executive management to communicate to investors during Cos quarterly earnings calls, analyst days, and the annual shareholder meetings.
•Provide Co with a wealth of industry and competitor information and perspectives from the investment community to executive management.
•Provide executive management with accurate feedback related to discussions with the investment community and its reaction to Co's business strategies, published research reports and to special developments within the industry.
•Review external research reports issued by brokerage firms regarding their perception of


Experience and Education Guidelines:
•Minimum of 2 years experience as a 'Sell-Side' Analyst, and two years as an IR director or higher level.
•Deep understanding with financial modeling including the valuation of companies, along with strong project management skills.
•Outstanding verbal and written communication skills. Working knowledge of the current regulatory environment.
•Bachelor’s degree required; an MBA is desirable
