We are seeking a Civil Maintenance Engineer to provide maintenance engineering services support for purposes of planning and maintenance engineering for the Maintenance Control Department of the CAP. Duties include development of preventive, predictive and condition-based maintenance programs utilizing modern technologies such as acoustic monitoring, ground-penetrating radar, sonar, ultrasonic testing, and others; trending and evaluating field inspection results and recommending corrective actions; as well as performing infrastructure assets condition assessment and developing job scopes and plans for large overhaul and repair projects. Requires a bachelors in civil or environmental engineering plus 5 to 10 years experience with the construction and maintenance of large civil infrastructure systems and equipment. Requires knowledge of and experience with inspection, maintenance, and repair of earthen dams, dikes, flood control structures, concrete lined aqueducts, tunnels, pipelines, and roadways. Must be able to assume the role of project manager and coordinate the work of outside contractors to complete projects as needed.
