The primary focus of Baker's Denton Office is to serve FEMA, and particularly their Region VI Office, in the Floodplain Mapping Modernization Program. Our office oversees the production of updated FEMA Floodplain Maps for over 500 counties in the five states comprising FEMA Region VI.
An exciting transformation is taking place in the Denton Office. We are expanding our client base to include municipalities, counties, the Corps of Engineers, and other governmental entities, and private sector clients. We are offering professional engineering services for drainage studies, hazard mitigation planning, and preparation of construction documents for drainage systems, water and sanitary systems and roadways. Our services also include Geospatial Information Technology solutions.
Responsibilities/ Description: Qualifications required for the CE II position include Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field and a minimum of seven years of planning, designing and analyzing data on civil engineering projects related to water and sewage systems, interfacing with clients and project management. PE required. Should also have familiarity with the Map Mod program and a background in municipal type projects such as water, sewage, street and local drainage. Experience in hydraulics and hydrology modeling helpful.
