They are seeking an experienced Aviation design engineer for their office in the Atlanta area.  The ideal candidate would be responsible for the design and preparation of construction documents for airport projects. Specific projects include runway and taxiway improvements, aircraft apron and hangar construction.  This is an exciting position that may lead to a department management position for the right person.

Must have at least three years hands on experience with AutoCad, ability to perform coordinate geometry calculations, grading, drainage and hydrology. Other requirements include knowledge in design guidelines and advisory circulars of the Federal Aviation Administration and ASHTO.   Georgia DOT knowledge is a plus--some travel up to 2-3 days a week may be required.

Minimum Requirements:

6+years Related Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related degree

PE in Georgia or ability to obtain within 6 months
